Anyhoo, today I was in the midst of finishing the half-bath floor (a different bathroom–the in-laws are coming Friday and I’m embarrassed I’ve left this only half done since Thanksgiving) and the last step to be done before I can caulk, clean, and decorate with crispy new bath linens is to put down the shoe mould.
Now, this is harder than it looks for someone who can’t hammer a nail straight–like me. AND I cut one piece wrong and I’d recut it except it’s 1/2″ too shy of what I need. AND that was the last of my shoe mould. So now I must go get another length. And I must drill the holes and tap in the nails just so before I put it down. And I must unplug my caulking tube. And… and… and…
